The fiber challenge is always an exciting meeting for everyone. This is the time to see the creative works of the members who took up the challenge of working with flax and cotton.
The room will open at 6 p.m. for a social gathering with the meeting starting at 7PM.

This is not a general meeting, but rather a spin in and potluck. Come and spin out on the patio amongst the alpaca. Bring your wheel, some fiber to spin, bring a dish to share, and have a great time in the great outdoors.

The Sheep to Shawl team will be representing the guild with another demonstration activity. The county fair is a fun place to visit, eat great fair food, visit vendors, support the team.

Ed and Wanda Jenkins of Jenkins Woodworking and Yarn Tools will share their knowledge of spindles. Ed will offer information about the types of woods that work well for spindles and Wanda will talk about and demonstrate a cross arm spindle.

Oregon Flock and Fiber is a weekend filled with classes, demonstrations, livestock shows, and an expansive marketplace with a wide array of fiber goods and accessories.
Admission is FREE! The marketplace is open Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 4pm. Workshop descriptions are available now and registration opens July 1st.
