Aurora Colony Handspinners' Guild

July Already?

Absolutely—it’s amazing how fast the year is flying by!
July always seems to bring a burst of energy,
and it sounds like the guild is buzzing
with both behind-the-scenes planning and public engagement.

🧶 Sheep to Shawl Demos

The Sheep to Shawl team sounds like they’re doing fantastic work representing the guild at fiber fairs. Demonstrations like those are such a great way to connect with the community and showcase the artistry and skill involved in the process—from raw fleece to finished fabric. It’s a living tradition that really draws people in

The Aurora Colony Handspinners strives to be a welcoming venue for all who attend and participate in our guild and its events. Our mission is to promote awareness of the art and craft of hand spinning in the community at large, and to give spinners an opportunity to share, learn, educate and study. We will accomplish this mission with a caring attitude, and we expect and encourage everyone to be kind and respectful in their intentions with each other.
