Meetings

Curious about the guild and what we do?  If you haven’t been to one of our meetings before but want to see what we’re all about, please feel free to join us at one of our regular meetings free of charge.

Most regular monthly meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. every 4th Thursday (June and September meetings are subject to change.  Please check the website calendar for current dates and times). There are no monthly meetings in July, November, and December; however, other events take place during these months. Board meetings start virtually at 6:00 p.m., and all members are invited to participate. Guild meetings are conducted at:

United Methodist Church
1520 N. Holly Street
Canby, OR  97013

Come early to spin and socialize!  The spinning circle starts at 6:00 pm.

The annual Antique Spinning Wheel Showcase is the 2nd weekend in March at the Aurora Colony Museum.

Spring brings the annual Fiber Faire, usually in April or May.

In July, we have a dye day on the grounds of the Aurora Colony Museum.

The annual Fall Workshops are held in September or October with classes, fiber vendors, and a learn to spin class.

We have a holiday party and gift exchange in early December.

Check the Calendar for exact dates.

We have a newly formed Sheep to Shawl study group that is currently demonstrating at various fiber events throughout the northwest with the goal of competing with other groups.

We have a Knitting Study Group.  The group helps each other with knitting projects that members are working on or want to start.
