The warm summer days offer numerous chances to attend fiber fairs throughout the region. Be sure to check the calendar for a schedule of these events, which includes various county fairs and the Oregon State Fair.


The Sheep to Shawl group has numerous opportunities to engage in demonstrations. Please consult the calendar to identify available slots.

The Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival is set to take place in September, and there is an opportunity for guild members to volunteer. The guild will host a booth where volunteers can engage with attendees, discussing the guild and promoting future events, including the Learn to Spin class at the October Workshops.

The Aurora Colony Handspinners strives to be a welcoming venue for all who attend and participate in our guild and its events. Our mission is to promote awareness of the art and craft of hand spinning in the community at large, and to give spinners an opportunity to share, learn, educate and study.
