What is this?
OFFF Guild Booth Volunteering
Volunteers are needed for these jobs and positions:
Friday: Basic setup of 2 tables and 6 chairs. If you are going to be there on Friday, please sign up to give just a short bit of time for these tasks.
Saturday and Sunday:
We need
2 people at the guild table
. Your main jobs will be to take care of memberships and to sell raffle tickets for the antique spinning wheel. Answering questions and providing enthusiastic PR are included.
We need
demonstration spinners
. This one is easy! The agreement with OFFF is that we will benefit the event with our demonstration spinners. It can be by wheel or spindle. Any fiber is fine, but we are encouraged to feature plant-based fibers this year. Unique or exotic animal fibers would be interesting as well. If you are planning on sitting and spinning in the booth anyway, this is an easy way to volunteer and support our guild as well. Sign up slots are available. Plan to spin, smile, and answer questions.
Guild members may spin in the booth as long as there is space available. Volunteer to insure your spot! Please bring your own chairs as we have to
pay for them this year.
